Seizure Problems Solved with Epibell...
I am Amanda, mum to a son who has cerebral palsy. He developed tonic clonic seizures during the night, which were extremely unpredictable and always prolonged. They always resulted in him needing emergency medicine and often hospitalisation.
I was at my wit's end, worried sick about SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Dead in Epilepsy) and exhausted from lack of sleep. Day and night, I was listening for any sound or movement from my son, scared as a seizure could happen at any moment.
I wondered how I could ease our struggle.
Initially, I started using cat bells which wasn't ideal since these hadn't been tested for this purposes, nor were they particularly safe due to sharp edges and very small parts that could work themselves loose. They did however help to alert me during the night, so I was finally able to relax and get some much needed sleep.
From that experience, I set to work designing epibell, a bracelet or anklet, available in 3 sizes and 2 colourways, each fitted with 5 safety-tested bells. While as a parent or guardian, you'd need to make sure to stay within hearing distance of the patient, this simple device works wonderfully well.
I am truly excited at bringing the epibell to market for other families in a similar situation.

The Epibell helps alert the parent or carer when an individual is undergoing a tonic clonic seizure during the night.
The bells shake with the individual during the seizure and will ring. This can be heard in an adjacent room.
We recommend you use it in conjunction with other alert aids. Not for use during bathing or under water.
